Head Coaches
Lead practices, teach fundamentals, encourage players, and help manage games.
Assistant Coaches
Support the head coach, help with drills, player development, and game day organization.
Referees
Help officiate games and keep play safe, fair, and fun.
Team Parents
Help communicate with families, organize snacks, reminders, and team needs.
Game Day Helpers
Assist with setup, cleanup, scorekeeping, field management, check-in, and concessions.

- Meet with Dunn PAL staff or league leadership
- Complete any required background check
- Follow Dunn PAL youth safety and sportsmanship expectations

Do players need football experience?
No. Beginners are welcome. Coaches will teach the fundamentals.
Is NFL FLAG tackle football?
No. NFL FLAG is a non-contact version of football.
What equipment is required?
Players should wear athletic clothing. Cleats are recommended. A mouthpiece may be required. Dunn PAL will provide flag belts and flags.
Can parents volunteer?
Yes. Coaches, assistant coaches, referees, team parents, and event volunteers are needed.
Are background checks required for volunteers?
Background checks may be required for coaches and volunteers working directly with youth.
