DUNN’S POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE TO HOST MUSIC SHOWCASE AT STEWART THEATER
01/12/2024 – The Dunn Police Athletic League announced a new talent showcase to be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Stewart Theater. The event entitled “Dunn PAL & Friends” will feature local talent from across Harnett County and conclude with a concert from “Masters of Soul.”
The goal of the Dunn PAL & Friend’s Talent Showcase is to expose Dunn PAL students and others in the community to the power of the arts. The event will feature local and regional musical acts, and all proceeds will be used to support Dunn PAL programs. Together with the Stewart Theater and the North Carolina Arts Council, the showcase will connect Harnett County’s largest performing arts venue with an organization that serves area youth and help ensure everyone can experience live theater and music.
“We are excited to bring this event to life and know that it will bring positive exposure to the important mission of the Dunn PAL,” noted Rodney Rowland, Dunn PAL’s Executive Director. “Our vision is to create a community where all children have the support and opportunity to succeed, and the arts can be an important bridge in making that happen.”
The event’s headline act, Masters of Soul celebrates the iconic Motown music and features stylishly costumed and fully-choreographed tributes to both male and female Motown groups backed by a live band. Masters of Soul performs The Temptations, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops and many more.
Reserved seating for the event is $30 as well as a VIP option for $50 that includes a pre-show reception. For more information, visit CLICK HERE .
