Dunn PAL’s College & Career Readiness connects youth to hands-on learning, mentoring, and future-focused skill building.
Students explore careers, practice communication and leadership, and gain exposure to technology and media—while staying engaged in a safe, positive environment.
Career Readiness helps students discover pathways and build employability skills through CTE-connected learning and career exploration.
This program supports youth in preparing for college, workforce, trades, and certifications—through guidance, skill practice, and real opportunities.
Esports at Dunn PAL is gaming with purpose—structured, supervised, and built around teamwork, accountability, and positive expectations.
Students build strategy, communication, and digital responsibility while exploring careers connected to technology and media.
CCR supports measurable growth in skills youth need for school, work, and life.
Attendance, punctuality, communication, professionalism, teamwork.
Goal setting, pathway awareness, resume basics, interview readiness.
Media literacy, responsible technology use, technical confidence.

Dunn PAL After-school and College & Career Readiness Program starts Wednesday, August 28, 2024!
Grades K-3rd will be $25 a week per student and Grades 6th-12th are FREE to attend under a grant from Harnett County JCPC.
This year we are including the After-school Program and College & Career Readiness Program Grades 6th-8th Grades to Coats-Erwin Middle School. We will pickup from the Coats-Erwin Middle School ONLY.
