Program Overview
The goal of Dunn PAL’s After-school Tutoring & Educational Enrichment Program is to support academic success and whole-child development through tutoring, enrichment, and strong supervision in a positive environment.
Classroom groups are organized by grade levels: K–3, 4–5, 6–8, and 9–12.

Our approach emphasizes learning, professional staff, small groups, and family involvement.
How to Apply
- Register (online)
- Complete the youth application (with signatures)
- If eligible, submit the JCPC referral for free participation (grades 4–12)
Schedule varies by age group and daily enrichment activities, but always keeps learning and safe supervision at the center.
Fees & Payments
Dunn PAL charges program service fees for some after-school tutoring/enrichment participation (especially for younger grades). Payments must be made in advance to hold your child’s seat for the week. Grades K-3rd are $30 per week for After-school Program Summer Camp will be $35 a week for grades K-8th.
- Weekly payments are due by Thursday for the following week.
- Monthly payments must be made in advance (at least 3 working days before the next week starts).
- Fees are a weekly rate only (no partial-week payments).
Financial assistance/discounts may be available through the PAL Office (scholarship application required).
Transportation
- Transportation from Dunn schools and Triton to PAL (school-to-PAL).
- Transportation from Coats–Erwin Middle School for students participating in Afterschool and College & Career Readiness.
- Transportation home is available for students who live in the City Limits of Dunn only.
Transportation details are subject to capacity and routing.
JCPC Program Youth
Eligible youth in grades 4–12 may participate free under the JCPC grant for after-school programming.
Mentoring and athletic programs are not included in after-school pricing.
