P2P is a teen centered program offered to youth, grades 6 through 12th, which meets daily Monday – Thursday with their peers in a variety of hands on classes to help them on a College and/or Career Path in life.
Activities include academic enrichment opportunities through book clubs, SAT/ACT and ASVAB Preparation.
Life skills workshops that explore topics such as job readiness skills, financial literacy, pregnancy prevention, drug and alcohol prevention, current events, Dining Etiquette, Dress Etiquette, Social Interaction and alot more.
College and/or Career Workshops will be conducted weekly along with FASFA Workshops and Finding College Scholarships. Job/Career Path hands on learning to include S.T.E.A.M. and internships with local and regional companies.
Teens in this program will get real life experiences and gain valuable knowledge to help them succeed.
We also offer Youth Leadership Council and other opportunities for community-based service learning projects. Throughout the year off-site trips include sporting events at various sporting events, educational museums, amusement parks and college tours.
