BOXING is HERE !

Leadership:

You must first learn how to follow, then you can lead.

Starts: Monday, October 26th 2009 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM

Monday's and Tuesday's 6 PM until 7:30 PM

PAL Boxing was put into place in 1999 to help those youth that are not interested in other traditional sports. This program teaches discipline, respect, patience, nutrition, exercise as well as the importance of education.

DPAL Boxing is designed to give youth an alternative to hanging out on the streets and letting then blow off steam. Our boxing program has a vigorous three (3) month training and conditioning program in place before the youth can compete either locally and/or statewide.

DPAL Boxing is governed by the DPAL Advisory Board, DPAL Boxing Commission and USA Local Boxing Commission. DPAL Boxing is directly monitored by Dunn PAL. Only eligible youth ages 8-18 can participate.

A screening process is conducted by the DPAL Boxing Commission before a youth can participate. All Boxing rules are monitored and enforced by the DPAL Boxing Commission. All practices, workouts and competitions will be conducted by trained USA Certified Coaches and must be DPAL Volunteers.

If you are interested in being a volunteer contact the PAL Office for details.

COST

The only cost present for eligible boxers is the cost of registering as a boxer with USA Boxing, a Mouthpiece, Handwraps and acquiring a boxers book.
